I realized that the settings for this blog were set so that only registered bloggers could comment. I have changed that so that anyone can comment.

I have recently converted to the Catholic Church from an Evangelical/Pentecostal tradition of Protestantism. I have taken the name, Patrick, after one of my favorite saints, St. Patrick.

Yuo don't actually have to run a blog to be a user. Sure, in registering, you must create a blog. Then, of course, you have the option of blogging, not blogging and frustrating everyone who looks at your profile, hiding your blog from public view, or deleting it. (Or hiding your profile from view.)
I'm certainly not challenging your anonymity, but if you do want a Blogger account, the 'obligation' to have a blog is not really there.
